Facial Enzyme Peels can be light, medium or deep. The procedure is quite safe, effective and the amount of down time afterwards depends on the type of peel used.
HOW MUCH DOES A FACIAL ENZYLE PEEL COST?
Dr Lavery recommends doing a series of peels a few weeks apart to optimise the effects on the skin. Also purchasing a pack of peels is more cost effective.
After a comprehensive skin analysis to identify skin type, Dr lavery tailors a specific plan to address your specific rejuvenation and facial enhancement goals.
Enzymatic peels are what we refer to at the Studio as “wow – YOU’RE GLOWING peels” are a really great start to refreshing and restoring the appearance of the skin.
Referencing Dr Lavery’s homeland and the Celtic maidens, we offer 4 Celtic named main types of peels:
- “ION” pure
- “SOLAS” – luminous
- “CALMA” – calm irritated skin
- “OG” – youth
ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS
Such as Lactic Acid are the mildest of the peel formulas and perform light to medium peels. These types of peels can provide smoother, brighter looking skin for people who can’t spare the time to recover from a deep peel. Regular light to medium strength peels (approx. 6 per year) will give you results as good as a deeper peel without trauma.
SKINCARE RX LACTIC ACID (LIGHT/MEDIUM)
- Lactic Acid 20% – surface peel for all skin types or first peel.
- Lactic Acid 30% – light peel
- Lactic Acid 40% – light/medium peel for experienced Lactic users or those with a thicker or less sensitive skin.
- Lactic Acid 60% – medium peel for experienced Lactic users. Often tolerated by men with a thicker, less sensitive skin.
BETAHYDROXY ACIDS (BHA)
Such as Salicylic works to achieve similar results as AHA’s but are particularly effective on acne prone skin. the main difference between AHA’s and BHA’s is their lipid (oil) solubility. AHA’s are water soluble, while BHA’s are lipid (oil) soluble.
SkincareRX Salicylic Acid (medium peel)

Salicylic Acid 30% – medium peel.
