Your general dentist is usually the first assessor of your suitability for a dental implant.
Dr Lavery can accurately assess the feasibility of implant placement in your mouth, and whether this can be done at the studio, or whether a specialist referral is required.
This direct patient care is very cost effective for the patient saving both time and money by not being investigated further.
Dr Lavery and her team can perform bone grating at the studio for patients who may not have enough bone to have an implant placed at the missing tooth site.
When Dental Implants Could Be Done
Ideally this can be carried out at the time of extraction of the tooth. This is the GOLD standard in implant rehabilitation. Survival rates of implants placed in well managed bone grafted extraction sites are very high. Using your own blood, we can extract your own stem cells to produce more bone and gum. We then use this to place the implant, which greatly improves the bone quality and quantity for the implant.
The science is very exciting and we are thrilled to be able to offer this amazing revolutionary medical technology to our patients. Healing from this procedure is greatly reduced, and the bone quality is very high.
We have invested heavily in further education, technology and materials to make the process of having an implant more predictable and successful for you.
